Deana Lee is the founder, owner and head coach at EGA. Though she grew up an army brat, she settled in Edmond and graduated from Edmond Santa Fe. She trained at Dynamo Gymnastics as a student, competing through Level 10 while earning multiple state titles and a national championship. Deana competed collegiately for the University of Kentucky before returning to Oklahoma to complete her degree at the University of Central Oklahoma. Deana coached at Dynamo for 16 years before opening EGA in January of 2013. She has trained multiple State, Regional and National Champion gymnasts as well as athletes who have competed at the Division I level in college.
Deana has a degree in Community Health with minors in Biology and Business and is a certified personal trainer. She continues to compete as a body builder and uses her extensive knowledge and experience in nutrition and training to develop the whole athlete.
Caroline Horn has been involved with gymnastics for 37 years as a parent of a gymnast, parent of a coach, and currently office manager of EGA. Caroline has been a small business owner, an army wife and an H&R Block office manager. When her daughter, Deana, asked her to move to Edmond and help her open Edmond Gymnastics Academy she did so without hesitation.
Caroline is the first to greet parents and gymnasts when they walk in the gym. She knows firsthand the dedication, hard work, and parent sacrifice that it takes to be successful in the sport of gymnastics. Serving in this capacity brings back her own wonderful memories of sacrifice and success in a sport that she and her daughter have shared for more than 35 years. While Caroline will always be a gym mom, now she shares in the successes of hundreds of gymnasts and several special coaches.
